DDS Demolition has been commissioned by the London Borough of Ealing to undertake the complete asbestos removal, strip out and demolition of The Kipling Tower as part of an ongoing regeneration project. DDS were awarded the contract after a stringent tender submission procedure. The Bell Language School

DDS were contracted by Barrett Eastern Counties to undertake, demolition and site clearance works to the Former Bell Language School in Essex. The site comprised of several buildings of varying construction, including: two storey load bearing brick construction with timber floors and framed roof, a single storey timber framed building with timber cladding and pitched roof. In addition, the main building entailed three stories and was of reinforced concrete construction with concrete slabs and clad with aluminum panels. A basement extended beneath the building due to changes in ground level across the site. All structures were to be demolished down to under side of slab, foundations broken out and removed. Snodland Paper Mill, Ream and Palette Store

DDS Demolition undertook phase four of a consolidation scheme extending over two years for Smurfit Kappa Townsend Hook, at their Paper Mill in Snodland Kent. This phase involved the complete demolition of the Ream and Palette store, located less than a metre away from the Maidstone to London railway line. The structures were constructed of timber, brick, concrete and steelwork; over ninety eight percent of which underwent recycling and further processing via our sister company TW Services. The project brief was to demolish a small 19th century house and out buildings, reclaim any reusable building materials that could be reused in the new development and clear the site of its shrubbery.
The site its self was very sensitive as it lay with in a conservation area and area of outstanding natural beauty in the quiet village of Lower Hardres and was subject to various planning appeals.
